Anyone know where the connections are in the fusebox of a 2013 Fh, (not brand new type, its the Mr3) for the coffee maker ?
Been in to the volvo garage yesterday for a service, I have burned out the 24v socket with my kettle and asked for a new one to be fitted. The foreman was very angry with me for using it for a kettle !!!.
I asked one of the electricians what was the best options and he told me, off the record, that there is a fused set of wires in the fusebox whit a connection for a volvo coffee maker that I could hook into but although I can see the fuse I can find where the wires go to.
I intended to put in a dedicated 3 pin socket fot the kettle and leave it plugged in all the time, I think the pulling in and out each time didnt help my 24v socket.
The electrician would have showed me where I should hook up to but the foreman gave him a telling off for saying anything to me (Knob !)

Anyone done this ?
On Maritime the coffee maker was always in the top passenger side cupboard (front cupboard not rear one), so maybe the wires run into there?
You could also light your ■■■ when It goes on fire, None of the sockets on the FH are designed to work anything above 10w and about 150amps. Thats why I was asking about the coffee maker wiring.
I had a 58 reg fh took plug off the back of 24v cig lighter and put some spade connectors on some 30 amp cable and fitted 3pin house socket to it & 3pin plug to kettle,no more burnt out sockets also done the same with Electrolux fridge!!
The coffee maker wires are behind the left hand panel, in front of the passenger seat. They are to the right in line with the sockets. To use a kettle on the standard socket, change the fuse for a 15a. Never, ever start the motor while it’s plugged in though. That is how you’ve blown the sockets
