Volvo V4 ride improvement

Hi folks, getting my first own truck, with current market i am going to end up with Volvo FH500 2015. Need to wait for mine one more week.
Drove one yesterday, was disappointed with road bumps transferring through steering wheel a lot compare to other brands.
Does anyone ride V4 with supersingles on front? Wondering if that would help a bit? Anyone with cabin on air? Thats next step i want to take if truck proves to be good…
Last question…where to buy some nice chrome bits for Volvo, do not see much on fleebay…
cheers

Fit super singles on the front, and check the cab dampers aren’t knackered.

I’d recommend test driving other models to compare. If it’s on springs and has had a hard life (cheapest ones tend to be ex-tippers) then the suspension will likely be knackered. Don’t be put off by ex-Scottish trucks with moon mileage on them. Most of them have spent 80% of their life on cruise control at 56mph with the engine barely ticking over.

Yes they are on tipper work as its what i am going to do. One i have driven was bit rough compared to one i am getting and was rear lift, mine is middle lift. I am yet to test drive mine. Its not such a thing as cheap truck at the moment…market is crazy, I am lucky to get something reasonably priced…
