Volvo steering wheel

Assuming the steering wheel is the same on a Volvo coach (12 plate) as a Volvo truck, anyone know what the diametre of the wheel is please?
Before anyone asks i want to fit a wheel cover on it to attempt to brighten the thing up - Plaxton seem to have gone down the road of 1990s MFI flatpack black blandness instead of the relatively bright fake wood dashboards…

well, just in case they are different, why not take a tape measure and measure your own :wink:

Lessons in how to measure a steering wheel…

Are you looking at one of the Italian leather steering wheel covers on eBay for about £24?

Do you not have something about your person that you know the length of? :smiley:

C = Pi x D

the B10m coach i currently drive has the same size steering wheel as an F10, F12, F16, FM and FH that i know of, as ive used the same steering wheel cover in them all, mainly because i didnt like the old Volvo ‘skinny’ wheels

You have a reputation of breaking things - don’t touch it!

Plus Plaxton is a poor mans bus. Bring on Neoplan.

Our 2 12 plate Plaxtons were ordered before the boss switched over to buying Irizar i6’s
Anyway Plaxtons break themselves!!
Driven a Neoplan, wasnt that impressed with it nor the VanHools!!!

This what i mean by Plaxton using 1990s MFI as an inspiration…

Oh yeah and i know the size of the steering wheel diameter now :wink:
