I’ve just been given a 10 plate Volvo fh. On the passenger side their is a normal 3 pin electrical socket( type you have at home) any idea what power this is, and could I plug a t.v in?
It’s probably had an inverter fitted in the past, so that plug is probably 240 volt.
Note, I said “probably”. If it were me before I plugged anything at allinto it I’d whip it up to the workshop and get a voltage meter on the bad boy.
It may just be 12 or 24 volt and been used as cig lighter plugs can melt easy when hot. Could be 240 volt if it has an invertor fitted. Best to check with boss and/or workshop as it could be an unauthorised (and unsafe) modification by the previous driver.
