if it happens again turn the ignition off,there is a plug on the side of the gearbox (drivers side) around the frame is that holds your suzies twist the cap off the plug and you will hear a little release of air,twist the plug back on and return to the cab and you should have the gears again…it happens every now and again with ours but it never registers a fault …

even better he should have went down the scrappys, located a nice twin splitter giving a more fun journey along with better fuel consumption 
Thats the thing with buying 2nd hand motors, you can only get 80% of the stuff you want on them.

Also for emergency swap the “intermittent wiper” relais with the gearbox relais is iirc f5 with f6
The last FH I drove had no intermittent wipers, now I know why
