I have no indicators and I’m currently on break down south and getting some dodgy looks because I’m sitting here engine off with headlights on lol. Anyone know what’s up with this thing? Keys are out light switch is off? Cheers for any help.
turn the isolator off on the n/s, give it a few mins to re set
I had this problem once too. Volvo advised me to switch battery isolator switch off for 5 mins. it worked fine when switched back on
Cheers fellas just turned off will see thanks a lot for the help .
The light control module will have thrown it’s toys out the pram, just isolate the battery for a moment and crack on. Happened to me a few months ago and ended up looking like a Christmas tree in the docks…
What the hell was wrong with a switch connected to the lights with good old fashioned wire via a fuse and relay for crying out loud, not on your nelly far too simple even a steering wheel attendant might be able to fix it, if not simple tracing job for a half decent mechanic, sod that we’ll send signals via ‘‘modules’’ instead, ‘‘gotta go on the laptop mate’’ kerching.

so you have to take it to Volvo to get fixed
Used to be a ccommon fault on my 56 reg, brake lights would stop working also. Flick the isolater switch off for a couple of minutes and that used to cure it for another week or two.
