Does anyone know where I can get a 4 over 4 gearbox for a Volvo FL6 please
Did they have 4 over 4s? The one’s I drove had a 5-speed box and a 6-speed box. Robert

Not sure what you mean,if you have already have a 4 over 4 box what is knackered then take Tribsa’s advice H.L Smiths, Albrighton 01902 373011 i have used them for over 20 years and had no trouble. If you want to " upgrade" the only FL 6’s i have come across with a 4 over 4 in are urban units what the brewerys use, but this was in a 1997 model
Robert over here some later (2000->) FL6 6-wheelers had a synchro 4/4 range change (+ crawler), like M-B Atego, MAN 23.280 etc. Not sure about UK/ Euro markets though.
