Volvo FM radio code

My 63 plate Volvo fm had some battery connection issues and the radio is now asking for a 4 digit code. I can’t find the number in any old my manuals, instruction booklets that came with the lorry. Would anybody out there know the answer.

Probably not the quick fix you were hoping for, but hopefully this helps somewhat.

I had the same problem with the radio in the FH many years ago, the local Volvo dealer sent me the code, I think they have the code logged against the VIN.

seems a bit obvious , but have you looked on the sunblind to see if its been written on there … I always used to…

5

1st check it’s not been written in the handbook.
2nd check on sunvisor

3rd remove radio might be written on that.

4th phone Volvo, give them reg no, they should have it on screen,

5th is there a metal tag on keys with a 4 digit number on.
