my steering wheel used to tilt to virtually 90 degrees now it doesnt it seems to being stopped by something? it goes up and away from me when I press the pedal but does not do that last bit that takes it to nearly 90 degrees
any ideas

Could it be something as daft as a pen fallen down the steering column?

The volvo i drive done the same thing and it was to do with the pedal.
We had some MAN buses here years ago when I was on. A peg nut was fitted because the council in their wisdom said they’d get worn out with being moved to suit different drivers… a pair of stilsons in the lunch bag sorted that out.
