hi,
there is a breaker/exporters yard that i visit occasionaly in fforestfach near swansea.the last time i was there (1 month ago),there were at least 7 globetrotter fh cabs being scrapped.if you need their details,pm me.the yard is only 3 miles from the m4.good luck.

Hi,

I am in the Bristol area, looking initially for these things for a 1995 Globetrotter with CD trim:

  1. Cover plates around CB area (x3)
  2. Cover cap for handle under windscreen
  3. Cap for electric window panel
  4. Electric window switch
  5. Door speaker cover
  6. Speaker cover by lockers/ CB area
  7. Front fog light lens
  8. Ashtray - Wooden effect
  9. Green auto lub light (fits by parking brake)
  10. Clear interior roof light lens
  11. Screws on the top of a door (when the kerb mirror is not there)

Any pointers would be appreciated, as I mention, Snows do not have any of these cabs in stock.

Keltruck (Scanis delaers) do a ‘recycled’ parts scheme where they strip old motors… anyone know of a similar Volvo scheme?

There is a Volvo breakers in Clifton, just outside Ashbourne, Derbyshire, unfortunately, can’t remember the name of them

Give Shirleys Cellarhead a ring, they may have some bits kicking about,

there must be dozens of old yard shunters parked up these days, but like a good woman, you can never find one until it is too late :stuck_out_tongue:

You should definitely try Garretts, they are next to the A303 at Sparkford.

Hi all, thanks for help.

Nothing at Snows or Garrett’s for mark 1’s unfortunately.

M R Commercials in Swansea phone line is unobtainable, but Finn at Finn Tec was very helpful. Unfortunately, only open during the week, so will need to arrange a day to go up.

My friend just scrapped a whole cab a week or two ago that you would have got all that parts off of. Went to panda rosa scrap merchant in aberdeen.
