Anybody know how to remove the large drawer, under the bunk, on a Mk1 Volvo FH?
I want to take it out so I can clean behind it. It’s on metal drawer runners but I can’t find any clips to release it from the runners.
If I remember correctly we had a v1FH that the catch kept breaking on so it wouldn’t lock shut, the only way to get to the locking mechanism was to remove bunk mattress, unscrew the multitude of screws holding the plywood bunk floor down. You should be able to get the the runners to remove the drawer from there.
MK1 FH, open the drawer completely and lift the liner out what is inside the drawer. Under there are 4 torx screws, 2 at each site undo them and you lift the whole drawer out.
Newer models have the drawer made of on piece and have the screws to the sliders on the out side.
