Does any one know this vehicles past?
REK 208R, a Volvo F88.290 was purchased by our company last year at auction and went in for refurbishment last October to emerge this weekend to debut at Truckfest South-West.
I have found a few pictures of this truck on the internet bearing the name, MALTRANS INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT. The truck was a reddish colour and 1988/1989 appeared at various truck shows. At some point it a tag axle was fitted and re-sprayed blue. Last registered owner was the Doughty family in North Yorkshire.
If you can help piece together any of the trucks history we would be extremely grateful!

Hiya, sorry I cant give any details of REK but heres a few pics I have of her.

All I can say is the many repaints its had over the years it should never had much rust!!
Cheers Bubbs,
