Indeed, I will probably be out at Oulton twice this season, after all it’s the place of my greatest bike racing moment so will always hold a special place in my heart. (a fantastic place to watch racing as well)

could that be an ex Kammac motor? Seem to remember they were very short wheelbase and had that type of ADK?

Kammac (later Whiteline) did have some 3.4 & 3.6 wb F10’s converted to midlift but I’m certain never had any ‘left hookers’.

Ross.

PS, in fact, I’m certain all their conversions were B & C reg ‘Highline’ cabbed F10’s, IIRC the flat top Volvo’s they had were all F1220’s (I later owned ACM330X) and around 1983 Kammac were buying DAF’s & only went back to Volvo in 1985.

Hi MolePower. See if you can get some pics of him. Any pics of Gillards would be a treat.

Love those home made bogies. Also where’s the number plate.

have shown him this one gunner , but with out the numberplate he couldn’t tell who’s it was at the time , have asked recently for some of his F drives , but unless you ask for a pic of his caravan , he seems to drift off in a world of his own :open_mouth:

pretty much like the rest of our transport office …in a world of their own :unamused:

Too early for a Kammac mid lift, they all came on fleet with the E reg, all previous 6 wheelers were a tag axle.
Heres some

Found a few shots for you all.

Bit of a mixed bag, but hopefully should stir-up a few memories.

Taken at Brooks Foods Norwich, mid 90s.

I always like something different!

Sorry to hijack this post, but does anybody have any pics or info on a Volvo F10 4x2 unit UKC 400V?

My dad bought it new from Crossroads at Birstall, but he didn’t know where it ended up. I will post a photo when I get the office one scanned.

Cheers,

Chris.
