Hi , you have choice from 3.0M or other was 2.8 from memeory drive to tag 1.275 , have all spec sheets some place here ,will check for you UK spec
Hi
You can measure the picture & scale off the wheels as they are 22.5 inches.
Cheers Rich
Cheers guys thanks for for all your help , will most likly go with the 3 metre , if you could find the spec sheet that would be great .
will post a pic when i get rou nd to building the model
Andy
cannot find sheet as yaet , but air tank behind batteries is 3M as shorter WB tank rides under batts
Scania tags were 3.1m or 3.4m IIRC, don’t think the Volvos were any different. Outer axle spread was 3.8m or 4.1m respectively. Probably not a lot of use to you that information, but if you’re ever building a Scania tag, you know the wheelbase now
Hey, maybe this could help you (Euro) brochure.
That’s an A ride, they were 3.4m, the S ride were shorter.

hey Newmercman, what’s the difference between an A and S ride, and was that only in the UK avialable.
Bye Eric,
Wasn’t the A ride a twin wheel tag axle that was electric/ hydraulic as were the earlier bogie lift axles. The S ride was a single wheel air operated tag axle . I never saw the S ride set up fitted on a rigid but I stand to be corrected
Hi all! I had a F10 tag and it was 3.2m,but ithink 3.0 was the shortest one,But i am not sure

Sorry newmercman Scania were NOT the same as Volvo on any three axel chassis , and you are lost with you quotes as more is spaced from drive to tag centre than you say , i have all spec sheets some place, will check think S ride was 2.8 and 3 M , A ride 3.2 , 3.4 was two axel 4x2 , sellfsteer
was total WB 3.8 M , fhoto shows S ride
1,32 m on scania the drive to tag a few more on volvo i think

A special is not standard , the one in pic is no more an 3 M , S
ride has springs on pivot behind drive axel , A
RIDE has front spring hanger and short tag axel (copied by Scania )
