Volvo coffee maker

Hi all thinking about a new coffee maker has any one had a Volvo one ■■ Just wanted to no what they are like before I buy one

Cheers

I reckon you mean a Kirk, they’re made here in DK, almost all trucks have them here,ok but don’t boil water hot enough for tea. I just use mine for making hot water for instant coffee and it’s just about acceptable. Had one in a Volvo for 7 years and only had it rewired once, HTH.

Would it be easier to run a cheap domestic one thru an inverter?

Yep you not wrong there priced it up £263 for the coffee maker £132 for the bracket plus the wiring

£170 in this place it seems.

I’m just a 2 cups a day person, 3 if under a bit of pressure so this would be a bit of overkill for me.

I like to stroll in and have my coffee in the caf, Petrol station or whatever rather than the cab but if I was relying on U.K. motorway services this machine would pay for itself in no time at all.

At that price you could have George Clooney make you coffee.
Though if George came with the machine I suspect all the machines would be sold to the ladies of TNUK

I’ll stick with my £17 Tesco filter machine
