after loosing sky one and some other channels decided to call it a day with them and go to sky .
rang them up tp cancel and was asked why ,told her and she said will discount your package if you stay.

her- what about if we give you 40 free channels for free

now i was expecting all the crap channels for that but 5 days later ive still got sky sports 1,2,3 and all of the channels i had before.
dont know how long itll last but as there having a fallout with sky and dont want you to go there its worth a try if you want to save your self a few quid 
This also works with sky, I phoned them up and told them I wanted to cancel the lot, they gave me the same package at half price for three months. After three months I told them I still wanted out and they gave the basic package for £15 a month, the same as new customers pay, after that three month period I built my own package of the free channels plus two other groups, still £15 a month.
