To quote exactly, the R2 reporter said that the police said “… they have no concerns that it was illegally driven …” (in terms of tax and insurance) and “it wasn’t being driven illegally”. I presume those statements are true but who knows? They are certainly after him for something more than driving without due care and attention. If the police can’t ascertain the facts, the insurers will be able to determine who’s liable and it’s Mr Red Mist who will be paying in some way. I’m sure they know who it is by now anyway with all the publicity. I don’t believe there’s anything racially-motivated about this attack - it’s just OTT road rage. The guy should’ve been laid out when he got on the step (self-defence) but probably it’s for the best that’s as far as the escalation went.

Couldn’t agree more. Although if you or I did that, you could bet the farm we would have been down the Cop Shop weeks ago. I’m strongly opposed to racism but the pendulum seems to have swung too far the other way when some folk can act like this with impunity.
I’m not convinced of the racialist angle to this which seems to just have been made up by Royal Mail moanalot Winseer.

If the image can be enhanced, look on the Iveco and see if it has a “we’re on Checkatrade” sticker; If it does, the police wont intervene.

This was on Vine earlier. Apparently happened 3 weeks ago. The police traced the owner of the 7.5T, but the owner has refused to name who was driving and the police can’t force the owner to name the driver because “the driver hadn’t done anything illegal” … really■■?

We have to respect that religion’s wishes, but the heroes, not wishing to get their heads stoved in by a spa… earth-tilling implement, decided to wait it out in the cab for plod to arrive.
