Well Lads I have to ask the question ____ “ is the TNUK site now an absolute load of Bollox”
to what it was previously ? If I get banned well fair enough ,so be it, but it sure isn’t the same site it was prior to the previous set up which was simple to access and communicate on ! If it weren’t for the likes of John Davies a.k a. Buzzer’s daily posts about the “Every day happenings of Country Folk” with a bit of Transport thrown in on the side the site would ,and should be, dead ! Just my opinion others may disagree
Don’t visit as often as I used to. Find it difficult to navigate compared to the old one. The on going screw-up means it’s difficult to follow topics I am interested in. Seems that a lot of interesting posters have given up.
I agree, totally different. There doesn’t appear to be any logic at all.
Many a time a thread come up with a new post, when you look the last post could be anything up to 15 years ago. Trying to find the ‘new post’ is nigh on impossible that’s of course if it’s there!
I often wonder how the likes of Harry and Larry and Chris and lots more are getting on.
Any forum is what the members make it.
Dennis, your posts were always interesting and many would have looked forward to your latest contribution.
We had plenty of posters of a similar calibre (individual milage may vary), even those who annoyed others, in many cases attracted further comment.
Whilst I admit this board seems harder to navigate than the old, I’m not about to let a bit of tech dictate my viewing habits.
If Carryfast can suss the new platform out, it can’t be difficult.
The forum owner is not going to go back to the previous platform (I don’t think it’s even possible), so get on with it and appreciate what we have.
The more people post, the more people will post. It’s up to us.
Thanks for the mention Dennis but there are other (just a few) regular contributors, the problem is who ever is in charge of this site does not give a dam about the personal who post, long gone is the banter we once had gone to the dogs as one might say much the same as this country as a whole, just hope I live long enough to see what Nigel can achieve given the chance

I think we can all agree that ‘fings ain’t wot they used to be’ (regrettably), but it is what it is, it’s not going to go back, so maybe we should make the best of a bad job.
It’s not all bad, we’re lucky, we’ve got Leatherheads ‘fount of all knowledge’ to keep us entertained.
Although I struggled at the start of this new format (ooh, look at me sounding all technical ) I’m glad I figured it out somewhat. I do enjoy this forum as it’s a link for me to the old wagons and way of life. I hope you guys keep posting pics and comments.
I also agree with what we have lost but I am also a member of an American site and the contrast is stark. Every day there is much more interesting stuff and no slagging off of other members. That may be because they have a very strict policy but more power to their elbow. Politics is corraled in a separate place which I have never, purposely, visited, so I don’t know what goes on there but I appreciate that it does not affect those who wish to keep things polite and informative.
