Very irritating wannabe truck driver

I just downloaded the demo today after 5 minutes it bored the ■■■■ off me. Might be good if you could use a gamer steering wheel i suppose.

XboxAhoy did a much more concise review of the same game (as a joke) a couple of weeks ago.

I thought it looked great. Nobody seems to mind Aircraft Simulators or Racing games. Games like this give a positive insight about transport to the general public, in what way, is that a bad thing?

Good point :exclamation:
I love Microsoft flight simulator, I find train simulator strange to undestand ? mean the train goes where the line takes it

Well, as I started this thread, I apologise to Mr Nerd if I belittled him, especially if he is making money. I actually found the game quite interesting. It was just the geeky commentary that put me off. I shall try to follow the journey all the way to Bratislava, maybe with the sound turned down this time.

Our Transport Manager was playing a railway simulation on Facebook, I know because I kept getting invites to join in (till I blocked him)

I think it works like ‘Armies & Empires’ but with track and railway stations etc. His updates got on my nerves so much I never checked it out, Hahaha

Fair play to him for making a profit out of it.

It looks quite fun but after driving a real lorry all week I wouldn’t really want to spend my weekend driving a lorry simulator game
FIFA however!!!

Nerd cubed makes between £100k and £900k a year doing those videos.
The number is so vague as without having his log in details, we wont know for sure.
They make money with several factors.
First is CPM. Which is how much they get per thousand views. This is usually about £3 on average.
Then you get the clicks. Which is how much you get if someone clicks an advert. This can be between 70p and £5 per click.
The guesstimate is based on no one clicking adverts (lower rate) and 25% clicking adverts (upper rate)
It is generally accepted that on average 10% of people click adverts. So a more realistic number would be £250k per year.
People watching videos on mobile devices do not generate income for the youtuber.
