if anyone can remember lanark mart in the 60s-70s ,there were photos on the wall of some of the livestock firms …
i can remember the photos of joe coupland (beattock) truck ,sure it was called highland mary & A smith and son (lockerbie) albion reiver (golden arrow)
jimmy (my dad , drove the golden arrow& golden plover) for smiths …was based at priestdykes farm…
