I have always wondered about this.
When travelling on the m25 and they put up a variable speed limit when would the camera be active? Surely there must be a delay for the camera because if you go though it as it changed speed it would be harsh to get a ticket.

its always best to err on the side of road safety at all times and assume theres no delay.
wallop your super hamptons on the brake hard enough to bend the floor as the sign changes so you go under at an appropriate speed with no risk whatsoever of a nip following on,letting whoevers behind you worry about ramming in your back doors whether or not it leads to a multiple pileup behind you as it will be deemed to be their fault…better safe than sorry.
