I think it was either a medical episode or the driver simply fell asleep

Regardless of the cause, it’s yet another reminder of just how dangerous a place main road lay-bys can be (and this one is not part of the main carriageway!)

Yeah I try to avoid them if I can especially the ones besides fast dual carriageways like the A34 for example where I was lucky enough to spend my lunch break today !! RIP to the poor bloke.
