Van or lorry?

Top journalism…

Another junior hack who can’t spot a van from a lorry. :unamused:

A terrific effort from the van driver.

Another contender for ‘Bridge Wally of the Year’.

Not sure which reference you are assigning to the hack, I read that the reporter only referred to the vehicle as ‘a van’. There were quotes from the chu chu man and ‘an eye witness’ referring to ‘a lorry’, so maybe it’s these you need to address.
What made me smile is the eye witness, ‘saw flashing blue lights’ and ‘thought nothing of it’ Must be a rough neighbourhood… :open_mouth:

I needed…

A catchy title so, being the bumbling junior hack I am, I chose the lorry/van confusion. The word lorry is mentioned but, only once.

note to self finish morning coffee before getting on keyboard

Can any of you, more professional than me, drivers identify the van/lorrry?

A Luton perhaps?

I reckon…

It’s a Mercedes convertible/pick up/lorry/van/charabanc (now).

I like this bit- “It appears that the van was too large for the bridge and became wedged underneath.”
Well I never!
