I would have been suggesting that instead of wasting all that time and fuel going home and returning they paid for a hotel for 3 days and I copped for a short holiday.

It was suggested to them but they said to come back, the customer is always right, so back home it was

It would have been been nice to have a couple of days to look around, but such is life
