Can they still fine you for it,they once nicked me for not having credit,or means of accesing funds,for not having a spare wheel/tyre,as they said,i would be stranded if i had a blow out.
He first asked if i had a credit/debit card,i replied no,i was thinking he was going to fabricate a fine to start with,i did have some cards on me,but got nicked for the vagrancy law.
I contested the fine,the government wrote to say they had received the deposit for the court,i send them a photocopy of my cards,and said i had back up when i was stopped by the Guarda Civil traffico,at Sunbilla,the copper was smelling of drink,i then saw him laughing at me with his mates in the cafe opposite.
There is a law that means you have to always carry I.D. and technically funds of some kind but its mainly in the jurisdiction of the Policia Local. yesterday for example while strolling around Benalmadena the police stopped a few undesirable looking individuals and asked for their ID. its a good thing in some ways for safety but a PITA if you’re off to the beach and don’t want to carry anything valuable

there was one on tuesday just outside sevilla, they pull cars because they might have intelligence about somebody’s movements, but usually they pull the suspicious looking occupants. young lads in fast cars, arabs, car full of men, certain foreign reg cars. they leave the trucks alone.
the last 2 guys you pass, 1 has a huge stinger or chain with spikes and the other has a huge gun like you’d see in the rambo films 
There used to be a law in France that you had to carry 10FF or more ,if not you were classed as a vagrant,whether that still applys now since the Euro I don’t know
