UTC is the same as GMT. So in summer it is one hour before. In winter it is correct.

Forget what the display says, that can be showing local time, the VU records everything in UTC/GMT which is set by the installer or approved techie

mmmm well yes and no

When you look at the Tach vdu it will show /might show a heavy black circle this shows LOCAL TIME ie uk.0200 time when you put your card in it will then show utc time 0100 .
once you do ur enteries and confirm it will go back to local time…ie 0200 not all heads are chaged to local time though as some companys leave them to show utc on the vdu

This PDF shows an example of the manual entries and the black dot signifying local time. UTC is the correct time, remember that some countries local time can be 30 minutes adrift. Anyone driving in Iran for instance, the time is UTC /GMT + 4h 30 minutes
