Using laptop in truck

Just brought myself a new battery as my old laptop one died - but now looking to take the old beast with me on my travels as I need something to pass the time while I am waiting around at some places.

The current laptop charger has the following figures on it for its output 19v - 4.74Amps (90W Max)

Can anyone recommd a charger that would do the job in the truck/car on 12/24volt?

Thanks

Mick

i bought mine off ebay about £20 and it come with several different plugs that fits most laptops ,also you pop one of the fuses in which is marked to your voltage needs. works for me

stores.ebay.co.uk/MAW-PC-Console-Accessories
just type 24 volt in their search box and the item should come up

Thats what I use and have no complaints and no need to use the battery

You can get universal ones on ebay for £15.00. if you have a Dell you will have to get additional plug as none of them fit Dell :exclamation:

I got one of these http://www.easydevices.co.uk/pp/Laptop/TRUST_PW1200P_NOTEBOOK_POWER_ADAPTER_-_CAR_PLANE.html Switchable to 15/16/18/19/20 volts.

just but an inverter then you can use your normal mains charger should be able to get a 150 watt one for about 20-30 quid
