Anyone know any useful people to follow on twitter? Can be informative or just funny
Some I find handy are:
Met Office Warnings - @metofficeSSEng - https://twitter.com/metofficeSEEng - useful for weather in south east (especially if you’re catching a ferry!)
Highways Agency (South East) - @HAtraffic_seast - https://twitter.com/HAtraffic_seast - traffic reports in south east (but have all areas under different accounts)
anyone in Scotland should be following Windy Wilson (@WindyWilson88) and on Facebook. Usually the first with traffic reports on major routes, especially the A9. He also does cracking weather updates and is usally on the ball all other goings on.
I’ve found you don’t get much info from ferry companies by following them directly - (unsurprisingly) they don’t often tweet when they have problems / delays. That’s why I follow Burger.
Which Dartford Crossing one do you follow? I can only find one that appears official but hasn’t tweeted since 2011 and one that just vents anger at being stuck in the queues
I mainly put on there about road closures, diversions & delays etc…as i’m on nights, some might find it useful as the matrix are normally putting out duff info, and I think word spreads quicker on there than asking for a diversionary route etc on here or FB
Try Joey Barton, guaranteed to brighten your day as a neanderthal thug tries to pass himself off as an intellectual.
twitter
Hell yes !!! He’s quality twitter is Joey , he does , as del says , make prolonged attempts at rising above his notoriety . Then at least once a month will go utterly fruitcake !!
Only last night he went banana’s and had a prolonged public slanging match with ex Liverpool and German International Didi Hammann He DOES NOT mince his words … accused him of all sorts that I won’t repeat on here for fear of getting my ■■■sued …or worse
