Told to use the specimen bottle on the day of the test,but you can get a mate to wee in it,if you were not honest,if you knew you may fail the test,how does that work.?Told to use it at home and not at the doctors?

Do they trust the drivers to provide an honest sample?

Might not do harry,mine didn,t come on till i retired but on a routine med due to my injuries i was found to have type2,controlled with tablets,but i never had symptoms such as tiredness or thirst.

Will i pass with a cider sample?
Had to give a urine sample for a drugs and alcohol test for Gatwick airport last week. The nurse comes into the cubicle with you and checks that YOU give a sample.
The container thingie also gives temperature reading so they will know if its fresh or not!

i went for a medical(not hgv)when i got a new job about 8 years back…i was asked for a urine sample so i went and peed in the bottle and the doc checked it with a test strip and told me to see my gp as i had a high glucose level…my gp told me i had type 2 diabetes(which is now controlled with tablets)…i had no symptoms and no idea i had it till then.
They only make you pee in a bottle to see if you can do nights out 
Get the wife do the sample and look at the doctors face when he finds out your pregnant.
The above actually happened to a racing cyclist.The officials let him line up and told him why he was being withdrawn,over the tannoy.
I took one with me but the doctor made me go in the loo to do another one. she waited outside the door.
Wish she had come in she was a georgous blonde german doctor. 
I’ve had 3 lgv medicals now and the most I’ve got out of the doctor is " how are you feeling", I say fine he fills in the form. They do take the pi$$ with the cost though, £60 first time, £90 last time.

My mother workin a docs surgery. She said they only check for traces of blood in your pee
All good now.
