CC, I live in Hull and we have had a fair bit of snow today. The main routes are ok that I can see. Seemed to be well salted. Plenty of numpties on the road who panic at the first bit of snow. Not expecting any more snow overnight. Not sure about Cleethorpes area though.

How can you get snowed in because of 5" of snow  did you mean 5ft

well i live in tattershall , 1hour south of grimsby/cleethorpes. at the moment 1-2’’ of snow that fell on saturday morning is still about, major roads are clear, my sister’s boyfriend has just taken her back to lincoln, minor roads are not so good-sheet ice.

Grimsby had a bit of snowfall today. Slowed everything down quite a lot.
Cleethorpes will be much the same, we are expecting more snow tonight. There’s roadworks on Cleethorpes High Street also, where abouts you going?

It doesn’t take much snow at all to stop a fully laden artic being able to get up a typical farm drive… I had to be dragged up one by a tractor on Thursday and there was little more than a covering on it.
