That my friend is only a question that you can answer. It’s a rubbish rate, you know it is or you wouldn’t have asked. However, and it’s a big however, is that I gather from your post that you are relatively inexperienced? Well if that’s so then you are in the old catch 22 situation aint ya?
If it was my first driving job then I’d say yeah take it, like you say it’s experience. Plus it always seems easier to find work when you’re in work. It may just open other, better paying doors for you.
I’d rather regret something I have done than something I haven’t.
I dont understand your hesitation with accepting the job offer tbh, youve just paid for ur lessons and test so obvs its something youve worked hard for and had ur heart set on doing and youve been offered work straight away.
You should snap their offer up if only for the experience alone, its a start give it a go imo ur a lucky guy crack on!
I work nights, class 1
I get £7 ph for first 45, £8 ph thereafter
I get £30 per night unsociable hours allowance and £2 per night meal allowance
I then get £10 per week drivers bonus.
Average 68 hours a week and take home £520 approx for 5 nights.

Im happy enough with that to be fair.
Oh its double manned due to mileage.
That’s where you wage is made up. You’re lucky there, because if I’d seen £7 / hour, I’d not have applied for the job, simple.
