I would say that a few marked police cars running up and down our roads would have a positive effect on road safety,but income (to whoever receives it) would suffer quite a decrease,and police detection targets would also suffer.Nice to get a heads up on the sneaky,unnecessary tactics our ‘guardians’ are employing.Unmarked cars are of course necessary,but I would suggest that their ever increasing numbers for non covert operations is a mis use.I will now take cover.

Stop being a knob, people speed, change radio stations and sneeze whilst driving, all punishable by 2million years in prison, so if they can avoid getting done then all the better.

They like to drive like ■■■■■ when they think they’re out of view of a marked & obvious law enforcement officer.
They think an unmarked police car is sneaky because they want to sneakily drive like ■■■■■ when they can’t see one.

They’re ■■■■■ because they think all law enforcement should be done in a way that gives them a chance to alter their driving habits when one is near.

Maybe its just me, but it makes me smile when I see an unmarked traffic car with someone pulled over. Thinking they have got away with speeding, tailgating or whatever cos they can’t see any marked cars about, not realising that the big silver 5 series BMW behind them is a cop car.
I personally think there should be more unmarked cars on the road. Might make more people think twice about driving like ■■■■■■

and a black Audi, and a silver Volvo. Under hand shower of ■■■■ that they are. Add to that numerous marked cars, at least 2 camera vans and up until recently 2 bikes…oh and the odd county mountie who like to sit right up your arse.
Hardly news that police use unmarked cars is it? Are you gonna post every single unmarked car you see? Get a grip.
If your not doing anything wrong, why would you need to worry about or even need to know what they`re driving. 
There are more than 135 000 serving police officers in the UK. On a typical 10-15ml journey you might not see one, but they’re there !
Most will be off duty & going about there daily lives, most won’t GAF, but lots will take exception to poor driving & can place a flag on the PNC against the registration of a particular vehicle.
The flag system works well.

Err I have to get a grip for mentioning a unmarked car. Why read the post you self righteous twots. FYI never been pulled or done in 34 years. I don’t generally speed.

“Chas” My bike makes 125hp & weighs 215kg, it’s tuned for acceleration rather than top speed. 0-60mph is approx 3secs & from a standing start I can travel 1/4ml in 10.8 seconds.
Top Gear have proven that a 1 litre sports bike can out accelerate an F1 car up to the point that the cars aerodynamics create grip.
Unless you have experienced this level of performance you will never understand. There is nothing on the road that will out accelerate me up to 60mph & you’d need to spend over £100k for a car that would beat me from 60 - 100mph.
Sometimes, I will use that performance to do things that you will think of as dangerous, to me I’m just pointing it somewhere & using this performance to it’s maximum.
Sometimes I’m just doing it to show off . . . 'Cos I can.
And of course this was all done on a track! What a Bellend!Typical double standard muppet!
