Unlucky and some bulbs

Had just dropped my boy to school this morn as was on my day off and then ran into this on the way to salisbury, got to feel sorry for the guy broke down whilst blindsiding across the main road through our town, managed to block it for 2 1/2 hrs.

Also want to buy some indicator bulbs for the guy driving a BWOC tanker through Amesbury to Salisbury today as it took him 9 jcts before they worked again, just as well i could tell where he was going from his road position lol

oh wow!
never want to be in a situation like that. could he not get pulled by a landrover or something a few meters back onto the street.

Ironically its right in frony of the coach depot and the local garage, surprised that they didnt help him.

That’s why I don’t do shop deliveries.

It just ain’t worth the hassle n stress.

My sympathies are with the Driver.

That’s a somewhat awkward place to breakdown :open_mouth:

Poor bloke. Now THAT is truly every truckers worst nightmare I feel!

That was yesterday, I was stuck in all that too! Poor block had a single axle rear steer and was up against tescos wall and I guess the auto Axor box said ’ nope, not playing today’!!

All it needed was one of our trying to get to the COOP and then that would have finished the job! lol

Not really, not his fault is it? I’d have locked her up put a sign up & gone for breky!

Thats well funny! Is it every truckers worst nightmare?? Not for me think i’d of been crying with laughtier for 2 1/2hours lol…

Is it strange? Or is it just not getting worked up over something that isnt a big deal? I’ve got myself into far, far worse situations with a lorry, this is nothing so you mite aswell just laugh about it.

I bet there were some tossers giving him some right grief

It’s ok, just laugh at them. They will see the funny side and join in

Just kidding Saaamon, I know what you mean really, why get worked up when you can do precisely nothing about it. Laughing might be a bit dangerous though…

Poor guy cant even have a kip on a bunk whilst waiting, evil day cab Axor

It was a Gregorys day cab axor unit, doing runs for spar. surprised me as usually there delvery is a rigid, its the bledy tesco next door and coop across the road using arctics.

I imagine its what you get sent to do if you have been a naughty boy at Gregorys
