Just seen they are advertising but no salary info. Anyone shed any light on money and conditions? Re-location time again!!! Any other suggestions for work in the Burton, Ashby, Leicester area?
Only ever collected there but each time I was amazed my soul was intact when I left. They have the cheek to issue a tag which if lost costs you £20, they won’t let you load/unless you agree to it. The staff don’t care either and nearly ripped the mudguard clean off my trailer when it didn’t fit right on the locking mechanism and they drove a forklift on without even asking me (I hadn’t handed my keys in yet)
On the plus side the trucks are new. All mercs I believe.

Try B L Trigg or bison at Swadlincote, or what about nestle near the salt box? Sposed to be easy peasy work HTH

Still the same then so not surprised.
Only ever been there once about 8 years ago to do a trailer swap for a return load to warehouse stock . Having found the first, second and third trailers offered all damaged to the extent that they were unroadworthy, i was told to return solo. The damaged loaded trailers fortunately did not belong to the company I was working for.

Pass the salt box keep it on your left ,bit further along a level crossing it’s on the left down a side street used to take cocoa beans there from Lpool docks

I think the only drivers at bardon are a couple of Devereux drivers and a few Jeffreys rigids, all nestle transport runs from York.

Correct amundo. Nestlé at York is or was dead men’s shoes as well. Eddie does most of Bardon.
UB salary is round about 28-30k a year don’t think it’s the job it was from all accounts think they are throwing more work at u these days than they use too and depends if u can put up with all the rules and regs in the yard too .
Stobarts run the warehouse at Bardon for Nestle but a lot of subcontractors still run out of there like RG Fenn , Jefferys, Devereux , Goodalls from Halifax , Sparks and many others .

^This. Stobart only have 3 gas powered FMs running for nestle on a trial for the LPG.
