I have a load to collect from here for export later today, has anyone who has been here let me know the procedure, which gate in, goods office etc. Are they quick at loading or are you kept hanging around?

For a long time it was the 1st gate ie Not top one security box…But last time i went i was told to go secruity box,wait on the road with hazards on.Then walk over to the box.Give them the info then you scan in.
Be carefull ie speed and its a one way system.I went at midnight first time and got it wrong but been few times since and no probs.They treat you,like you treat them.

This place is on par with Tosco and DHL when it comes to H&S ■■■■■■■■.
If you are not dropping and swapping, you have to bay up, drop the trailer, the shunter will chock and lock it, then you park up near goods in, then YOU HAND IN YOUR KEYS!
Overkill!
Not the fastest places to load out of too.
If you have a 20foot container, you leave the unit under the trailer then wait in the canteen. You can wait in your cab if you drop on a bay but have to hand in your keys

Oh and when you are in the cabin that you have to phone in to the main gatehouse, when they start talking down to you, DONT give the knuckle shuffle sign as they have a hidden camera in there and can see you

All containers, imports etc have to report to the main security lodge, stop on the road and walk up, if its a container i think you have to phone up an hour before you arrive so they can get the load started._
