Should I join a Union
If so
Which one?

If your workplace has one already then join that one

If not and you’re joining just by yourself I’d probably not bother.

I’m an agency driver, although I’ve been at the same place for a full year I could be moved somewhere else in as little as a few days

Individuals choice,depends who you work for,or if its Agency where you are likely to be sent.
In the past, some places would not let you through the gates unless you where in a Union,especially docks or the car factories, not so much these days.
Unite is the most common union,and there was and might still be United Road,again for what it costs I would join.as an individual member.

Agency, does that mean you are a worker not an employee? Does that mean paying union fees would be a complete waste of money? As you couldn’t possibly hold your agency to account?
