Dash cam footage should only be valid if it shows the 15 minutes before hand and a rear view too.
Exactly, 2 sides to every story. Most just see a film clip then make a judgment on what the person filming wants you to see.
According to the STV news last night they have identified the driver of the golf and are investigating the incident…

Man charged after A90 ‘overtake’ film shared on social media
A man has been charged with dangerous driving after a video showing an overtaking manoeuvre on the A90 between Aberdeen and Peterhead was posted on social media.
The video was said to have been filmed on 11 November.
It showed a car overtaking a lorry after coming up the inside of a car which was already in the process of going past the truck.
Police Scotland said a man aged 26 had been charged.
