(cargo fleet steel works) the 8 wheel units pulled trailers about 80 feet long the unit was under the front of the trailer
the only did local work.it would be 1967/8 ish

Do you mean this one John, TA Bulmer of Middlesbrough, right period 1965 Reg, they used the low line crane chassis.

Not a tractor but still impressive is this 1965 Büssing (underfloor) three-axle.
Importer for Netherlands was Büssing Nederland/Habraken in Aalst near Eindhoven.
Removal-company Arnold Maessen bought this chassis that was transported to Van
Eck to have the body installed. The chassis was lengthened by York (trailers) near
Rotterdam. Maessen had several vehicles like International, Seddon, Morris and DAF
to serve main customers as Philips and DAF for removals within the company as well
as for Philips to move families throughout the country to work/live in Eindhoven.
It took some while but I now found a picture/text on the Büssing Burglöwe as tractor-unit.
Good to attend these threads as now the effects of the removal are better visible
