id think a lot of regular drivers have had some sort of agency experience at some point in their life…personally i despise them for the lying clinging parasitic companies that they are,knowing full well at best your a bum in a seat to them.they will have no loyalty towards you,and your only as good as the next shift they may want you to do for them,though there are also plenty of direct employers with the same attitude.i did a cpl months 30+ years ago,and a cpl years 6 yrs ago.no change,just they are what they are,the difference being a txt and a voice.they all will fleece you blind as much as possible.if thats an occupation that suits you,then good for you.to me then they are just parasites and though companies may benifit,drivers and the lack of proper employment does not benifit.there will no doubt be exceptions to the rule,but there was nothing wrong with a proper job before agencies popped up.
and please spare us the…i can work when i want.freedom to pick and choose shifts i see fit etcetc.
