Unbelievable, or is this just everyday occurence now?

I now know why drivers slag of agency and euro imported non speaky the language and honest I got my LGV licence legitimately drivers.
Whilst waiting at a MSA petrol station for another driver I witnessed one of the above mentioned jam a solo unit between a unit and trailer and the opposite pump, with help from the other driver he managed to reverse out only to do the exact same on the next set of pumps!!!
I could not believe my eyes, and have now found out this guy is a regular at my agency and they claim he has never had a problem!!
10 hours later I encounter same guy running back solo with another no English whatsoever in the following unit, I overtake them as they are dragging their foreign heels only to find out as I am clocking out that the two of them cut up the transport managers car on a roundabout…
And these ■■■■■ are safe to drive on the road■■? and they get paid the same as me!!!
This industry and the whole country is dying with the influx of these economic migrants (?)

:unamused:

I’ve jammed my unit into some tight holes in my time (even shared a hole once) but even I don’t have the skill level to get it wedged between somebody else’s unit and trailer.

Just getting in before the lock, this thread has a Friday nighter written all over it.

how jolly original of you.

but don’t worry in a week or 2 they will be offered a full time position.

one of our Drivers had to go out to help an Agency who did in 15 hour just 5 of the 12 Drops but had 3 Accidents.
Sad isnt it

I don’t know if the guy I saw at Gloucester msa s/bound today was foreign, agency, both or neither, but he certainly wasn’t a driver. :unamused:
He pulled forward (Farm Foods Actros) to reverse next to me and put too much lock on, and started to jacknife it.
I thought…new driver I’ll get out and watch him in (not entirely selfless, I was worried about my n/s mirror) Before I could get my arse off the seat he deliberately backed on the grass, revving the ■■■■ off it, churning the grass up. When he got level with my cab he pulled forward, BOUNCED his front axle back on to another part of the grass (the cab had some wobble on it here btw) and churned that up also, leaving a trail of wet mud on the park.
He reversed up, stopped…chucked an empty coffee cup out of his window, walked round the back of his trailer (presumably for a ■■■■) and then walked to the shop.
■■■■ muppet, the sort that gives us ALL a bad name, whatever nationality, or type of driver… :smiling_imp:

Where are you tonight?
I’m sat in a pub in Exeter on my own with a pint, like Billy ■■■■ Nomates :unamused:

Over in Spain im used to a lot of ‘foreign’ drivers. Is there some hate or otherwise in the UK for someone who doesnt speak the lingo
And agency drivers, arent these people just trying to earn a crust like everyone else??

The full timer/Agency thing is …(dare I say it without getting ■■■■ thrown at me) …banter, although one or two tend to take it far too seriously :unamused:

The foreign driver thing, …one or two on here, not all (no names) are out and out xenophobes bordering on racist, mainly aimed at foreign drivers on UK jobs and trucks. Some points are valid, some, and most, are driver bullcrap spouted in RDCs, and repeated on here.

The rest of them with the hate for drivers on foreign registered trucks is mainly down to ignorance, and mainly perpetrated by those among us that have never driven anywhere south of Dover, and mainly don’t know wtf they are on about… :unamused:
Hope that explains it. :bulb:

Yeah thanks for that…
Ive never understood racism, we’re all in the EU and all trying to make a living just like anyone else. Im UK born and bred (well… born on a boat in the Bay of Biscay :grimacing: ) and am tolerant of all from any country. Ref foreign drivers doing UK work well for years i did Spanish work spoke very little of the lingo but never experienced any animosity at all. It seems some are too tunnell visioned in their ways with agency drivers, maybe these guys cant get permanent employment and subsequently are not as experienced as others but no need to belittle them at take swipes at every opportunity  As you say , the ones that do it have probably never even been out of the UK yet they like to think of themselves as professional drivers…
