i see they’ve just decided the woolly mammoth was killed off by global warming :unamused: rather than by ‘man’.

According to the Great Thunderberg it was the industrial revolution that caused it and it’s definitely all our fault. It will all be fine when we’ve given all of our cheap safe fossil fuel to the ‘developing countries’.

You just can’t make this zb up     Anger as generators moved across Scotland to power electric vehicles carrying VIPs to COP26

This CLIMATE EMERGENCY is the NEXT SCAM by these GLOBALIST insane psychopaths, There is no emergency man is not adversely influencing the climate, and Co2 isn’t driving climate change it’s lies

Which means that the government intends to tax pensions for supposedly breaching ‘climate change’ policy.

Obviously an extremist ‘Green’ Party administration masquerading as Conservative to get a false mandate.

Her opinions are rather in line with Hitler’s.

“Do as I say or face the consequences”

The irony is that the data this is based on forms a tiny percentage of the history of the world’s climate, there is nothing that categorically proves it wouldn’t have happened anyway - and finally, a few folk not driving to work in a petrol powered car is going to make bugger all difference anyway.

Ironically, everything she does is contributing to pollution of the world…The hot air from her gob alone must be having a pretty adverse impact!

Aviation is now in the cross hairs of the Greenies and is going to get clobbered with a kerosene carbon tax shortly to the tune of €0.38/litre which will mean dearer holidays abroad :open_mouth:

“Aviation’s treatment “is in contrast to ordinary road users, meaning that any driver that has ever filled up their car with petrol has paid more fuel duty than British Airways, Ryanair and Easyjet combined have ever paid on their flights,” they write in a letter to the Treasury.”

“The European Commission has proposed that taxes should be applied to all intra-EU flights, at a rate of €0.38/litre. The groups say the UK should not only match this proposal, but should consider going further. Failure to at least match the proposals risks increasing greenhouse gas emissions through tinkering.” transportenvironment.org/di … -airlines/

Won’t be long before ordinary folk are lucky to get a day trip to the seaside every year.
The trouble with “Green” policy is that it will destroy as many lives as any consequence of climate change ever could. Millions of jobs will go, people’s lifestyle will change significantly- and not for the better.

This all base on computer modelling and ideological, naive thinking.

Making everyone utterly dependent on electricity for example, will force prices through the roof.

I’m glad I’m nearly 50 and not nearly 20.

But the truth is nothing is actually happening. It’s as cold now in the polar regions as ever in Autumn.

Climate ‘activists’ are all the same they won’t accept anything which isn’t in line with their narrative and agenda. No surprise that they have no issues with ‘developing countries’ burning as much cheap safe fossil fuel as they want. It’s a wealth redistribution scam.
We even have a few of them on here.
Such as denying the physics that say that it’s colder at the top of Kilimanjaro than at its base because of the difference in atmospheric pressure.
Just like Venus was cooked by its atmospheric pressure and being closer to the Sun.
Not Sagan’s narrative because it’s atmosphere is made up mostly of CO2 let alone Earth’s 0.04% CO2 component.

Just listened to co founder of Extinction Rebellion(Roger ? )on GB NEws.The guys a lunatic.ER have 8 planned demos to start in London on August 23rd which will last as long as they all feel like it because the police will do sweet fa.
ER want to ban all cars and aircraft travel, meat eating and to confiscate 90% of the wealth of the richest people in the world. No explanation of what they plan to do with it.

The latest from the climate lawyers (ClientEarth) have just won a thirteen year long legal battle which will make it easier for the likes of extinction rebellion and every man & his dog to sue governments. :open_mouth:

"After a 13-year-long fight, we have won the right for all people to challenge the EU in court on decisions that break environmental law.

Previously only NGOs could do this – and only to challenge a very small number of EU decisions. This landmark reform gives members of the public the opportunity to hold the EU to account over climate change and biodiversity loss.

EU decisions that are harmful to both people and wildlife are now open to public challenge, including:

Authorising the use of pesticides
Limiting diesel emissions
Setting fishing limits"

The threat of court action against the German car industry is in full swing since environmental lawyers Clientearth won a court case to challenge fossil fuel polluters. :open_mouth: fleetnews.co.uk/news/manufa … ing-claims

Merc should pull the plug and close down all operations making all employees redundant including closure of its truck operations in the US with immediate effect.
Then tell Greta your move.

The industry should have moved away from dirty diesel long ago.Spark ignition technology can now match the fuel efficiency of diesel and continuing its use just provides ammunition to the anti ICE zealots and the needless complicated tech used to clean up its emissions just adds cost and unreliability to an already more expensive fuel.
As for Greta her agenda is more about a treeless irradiated dustbowl for us, to give our fossil fuel away to ‘developing countries’ and to make Al Gore etc very rich in a captive market paying 26p per kwh +.
Hopefully the real ‘greens’ will realise that they’ve been conned by an elites driven scam.

Hasn’t the UN told us the world is doomed in 10 years every 10 years for around 60 years?

Absolutely.

Acid rain was the issue way back. Famine everywhere.
Ahem!
Same old ■■■■■■■■ from the same old scientists basing it on computer says so!!!

Acid rain was stopped by enforcing strict pollution laws. Not sure why you link it to famine - you tend to get acid rain in highly industrial and polluted areas like the US and western europe where theres not much famine. You still get acid rain in heavily polluted parts of China.

If you think science is ■■■■■■■■ do you live in a cave or run away from televisions for being “black magic”? Do you think jesus created mobile phones? Or was it a scientist?

Science also gave us Chernobyl and Dolly the cloned sheep among other even worse nefarious uses of biotech.
It has a habit of doing and saying anything for the highest bidder.
Which in this case means an unaffordable nuclear and biomass fuelled nightmare for us so that all the cheap safe fossil fuel can be burnt by ‘developing countries’.

For everything scientists get right they get a dozen things wrong.

I bet you wouldn’t bet your house that the current climate theories won’t alter in the future. Because, as more research is done, their views will change. Yet it is being set out as gospel and we couldn’t possibly be wrong. They are basing it wouldn’t have happened anyway on probability not fact.

Scientists told us in the 50s we would all have nuclear vacuum cleaners by the year 2000…

They have been the same with Covid. More mind changes than you can shake a stick at. Constantly contradicting themselves. Dont vaccinate kids… Not safe. Now it is safe. No hang on it isn’t safe. No it is. Well there’s a risk, but it’s an ok risk. Not very scientific really.

On your last point, we will all be living in caves again if the current “doom climate” path is continued. No one will be allowed to do anything.

Shell has been busy greening up it’s business since it was ordered by the courts in the Netherlands in May of this year to decarbonise it’s business by 45% by 2030. It’s becoming the poster boy for Greta Thunberg :open_mouth:

Besides acquiring the UK’s biggest EV charging network Ubitricity It’s also acquired ‘Greenlots’ a a major EV charging infrastructure installer, It’s also acquired Newmotion network in Europe which has over 30,000 EV chargers and opened 200 EV charging stations across Germany. Plans are also afoot to build a biofuels plant in Singapore to make hydrogen and it’s also developing a co-branded network of charging solutions, fast chargers & battery swap stations with NIO one of Chinas leading EV manufacturers to cover China & Europe.

So the acid rain point was what?

Scientists didnt tell you about nuclear powered vaccuum cleaners - you were watching too much Tomorrows World.

Science self corrects itself - david icke and the “science knows nothing” silliness never correct themselves or go anywhere.

The big oil & gas majors are feeling the pinch of the green revolution and are looking at a nightmare stranded assets outcome. :open_mouth: rt.com/business/541409-oil- … gn=firefox

Couldnt happen to a nicer bunch! Destroyed the eco-system for profit. Good luck to the grandkids.
