Sometimes I read threads and wonder:
- Why the OP posted it.
- Why people bother to reply to it.
Because some threads can be somewhat pointless, and others just degrade into slanging matches.
There are several threads recently that are either one or the otherI don’t agree with this and/or have no interest in the subject, so instead of just scrolling down and not reading it, I’m going to torment myself and read every word, then make a post moaning about the thread and wondering why people reply to it.
Oh the irony…
So, here we have a situation where a bunch of drivers have found a free spot to park for the night.
Something that is an extremely limited commodity in Britain, whether it’s because of lack of facilities, or lack of finances, or even through choice like robroy.
In doing so the drivers may cause a slight inconvenience to other drivers, as their parked vehicles take up a fair bit of the available road space.
Yet traffic can still move somewhat freely, albeit at a slightly reduced pace.
Then we have a lorry driver come along who feels put out by this and showing his displeasure by sounding his horn.
Then we have other drivers arguing the rights and wrongs on this forum.
WTF?
It is ridiculous that anybody would drive down the road sounding their horn, it is even more ridiculous that other drivers would agree that it is acceptable behaviour.
In this crazy PC world it is acceptable to behave in this extremely anti social manner, yet it is unacceptable and considered anti social to deal with this in the correct manner.
Which is to drag the horn blower from his cab and kick the [zb] out of him for being a complete [zb].
