Have I missed something lately but when did Ukraine join the EU 
the last 3 days about 80% of the portugese trucks I’ve seen have had their little blue and yellow flags in the window so either they are Ukrainians or they like the country so much they’re flying their colours
I always thought that to work in the EU you had to be an EU citizen? or get a visa for a job where there is a specific shortage but there are plenty of drivers about

yeah agree with you, Lots of Portugeses hauliers use Ukrainian drivers like Paniter, Torrestir and Eurocombol - they put their Ukraine flags or football scarf on thier dashboard & windscreen.
I reckons Portugeses hauliers arrange to find Ukrainian drivers and put on work visa for one year or more than that. I reckons drivers did not went back to home for a year till his visa are expired. Same thing as Portugusse & Spainish hauliers use Brazilian & Educador drivers.

they’re still going toby got quite a few UK drivers on there the portugese boss was based in the UK not sure if he still is though

Its a shocking thing this EU thing, its ■■■■■■ a good job/life up for that many people it really has.
How bad must the pork & cheese economy be that they need 3rd world drivers in there trucks, having said that I’d rather be overtaken up the forest rd by a Ukranian than a Porker

Because the old Soviet Union was like the EU in terms of migration of citizens alot of Ukranians etc have ties with the Baltic states. Without getting into lengthy explanations a few can use this family tie to get EU passports. I know this to be fact.Trust me.
