Bewicks pop up on most threads, I’m surprised Dennis hasn’t put some on but this is the only one of his I have in another company’s name. The DAF is another ARR Craib.

The British Gypsum livery gets in a lot of fleets. I have found out that this one is a DHL and I have a third company example when I can find it. The parcel Scania is a Fagan and Whalley from near Burnley.

I have a picture of that Foden CG but couldn’t find a name on it so I didn’t know who to credit it to. There are probably a lot in my pictures that come under that category. This WH Bowker is not shy so I know whose it is

I don’t know if they are still members CG. Here is another Bowker and a couple of Edwin C Farrell’s Knauf liveried units. Between them British Gypsum, Knauf and PalletForce must have a lot of vehicles running round with their names on that they do not own.

i remember Bowkers getting those FMs for that Wm Blythe job. There was a lot of head-scratching in the yard when they arrived - especially as the people who specced them (not Bowkers - who pushed for their standard tractor) had turned their noses up at FH Globetrotters and insisted on flat-top FMs.
I bet their drivers were beside themselves with glee when they rolled up and saw those rat-traps backed under the new Van Hool tanks - parked alongside a load of Bowker FH Globetrotters. It’s a good job thee were only 5 of them…
