UK Class2 Hiab with 5 yrs Exp, any good applying for Canada?

As the title suggests.

I am looking again into moving to Canada. This country gets worse

Now, I am still only Class 2 been driving my 8 wheeler Hiab now for 5 years doing all kinds of stuff from long/wide cabins to machines, infrastructure works piling rigs and the associated equipment. Currently doing loads of work for the rail networks.
Is there much call for my kind of driving skills out in Canada?

Regards Clarky

There are tons of jobs that are similar to yours. Working on the rail for CN or CP would be a one for one swap. There’s also oilfield work (tons of it) in Western Canada.

But, you’ll have to dig around on the internet & email some companies in that line of work to find out if you can get in via the usual PNP or LMO routes with them.

If you come via H&R or whoever, you will be on long haul in an artic (which you have to take another test for anyway, so the class two won’t hurt you)

Mark, you forgot to add … he will earn crap pay and never see his family again

And to bring his Vaseline, it will make the process less painful
