UB ashby

Anyone work for them,if so what are they like to work for?

My brother used to before he left driving. Easy work lots of hours if wanted, decent money from what he told me. I used to work for a subbie that pulled a few loads out of there and we always got the worst runs.

Don`t forget the H&S…well ■■■■ :unamused:

Do they take on trampers?anyone know what take home pay is like?

Used to be a dead mans shoes job, one of the best, Wests took on some of the transport and now almost anybody’s in there now subbing but if you can get on there actually working for UB it’s a good job, nights is deffo where the money is :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

If you get in there your runs should be ok…that would be because our lot sub the ■■■■ ones off them

Do they have trampers though? Too far to commute for me I detest driving to and from work every day and Mrs hates me waking her up at early doors when I’m getting ready on day work.
I’ve always heard it’s a great job if you’re on the books.

Your right it is. As others have said it is dead mans shoes, my bro started in with agency and got offered full time from there

I know they do, did you not see me write DECENT JOB :unamused:

Don’t pull right up to the barrier when delivering… the gate house get angry followed by a few unsavoury words until of course when you enter to book in then it’s “alright mate”… Seen it a few times

Is west not a decent job?

Is west not a decent job?

Did some agency work there about 8 years ago, went in 1 night and I was the only english speaking driver there :open_mouth:
All the trucks and trailers were past their best too.

I did a day on wests once few years back on agency to, the workers signs were polish on the walls and doors and only 1-2 spoke English
I’ve known a few go there in last few years and it’s same as I’m on now, crap hourly rate on crap work doing curtain side stuff either chasing your arse for 5-600 take home(inc n/o) or quiet and 400 odd in the bank :unamused:
I’m not unhappy to be honest but money is crap I’m worth better.
