Dont forget the Tyne Tees Run tomorrow, vehicles will gather at Stockton Riverside from about 0900.
The midway halt will be at the DLI Museum Durham City, this venue is very appropriate this year
with the 100th Anniversary of the outbreak of WW1. This famous local regiment was in the
forefront of many of the battles in this bloody and long conflict. We must not forget the
sacrifices made by the participants and their families wherever they came from.

Well said Kev, I have uncles that never came back from this conflict

Well deserved they’ve both put alot of time and effort into them.
I took a few photos to-day, I will post them on here shortly, Regards Larry.
Enjoyed the day out at Bents Park today. Thanks for the Scimitar handbook Larry, appreciate that and nice to talk to you. Also good to see a few old mates, Davy Tillson and Big Chris, Alec Purvis with Fergies Dodge, Denis Bones, Big Jeff and a few others. Although the number of wagons seems to be getting smaller hopefully the run will continue for many more years, it’s good to see them as well as old workmates. Well done to the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society and everyone else involved.
I have posted some images I took at Bents Park yesterday on my thread - trucks shows past and present - if anybody wants to have a look I will be posting more on this thread over the coming nights. regards prattman.
