I’m probably the same as everyone else. Ban them yes, remove thier o licence by all means but how does them serving a prison sentence help anything or improve any safety? Anyway i thought the jails where supposed to be full, typical lorry drivers can find a space anywhere 
I suppose as things go, any one who has done a few full weeks tramping would find life in a prison quite liberating !!!

my two pennorth; yes, MPs will wrongly get away with their expenses scams, many paedos and violent scumbags get let off far too lightly, but these two did the crime so should expect punishment - IF they caused an accident where people died, what the hell difference does it make whether they were making money or not? If you can’t make it pay get out and those left will be able to much easier

prison is taking the ■■■■ , no one condons what there doing is right but everyone has there reasons and if i had the choice of having to run bent to put food on table and keep roof over my familys head i would do .
maybe drivers and oporators wouldnt feel the need to run bent if they was able to pay the fines , vosa give you a 300quid fine it takes some making up and the way rates are at present they probaly have no choice as only way there driver is getting paid at end of the week .
will just give them time inside and let the already stretched govermont provide for there familys while there away oh yea it makes sence god the system dont work . oh well am sure they will have plenty of time to design something to get away with it next time .
there was sany kydd with 10.000km missing a month come on when will these boys learn how to fiddle it propley wire =no milage count up so am told. if your going to go to extent of running crazy atleast you would think they would wind them back to match

i got pulled in on a17 other day we all are aware they have a place there , pulled in laybye just before wasnt due a break for another 20mins but pulled curtains round and had 45mins the cheeky swines came and knocked on the door and asked me the uswell crap taco’s etc i kindly told them to bugger of i was on my break and that i would not speak to them incase they classed it as other work followd by a fine .
wasnt so nice when i finaly did pull in but i new everything was spot on jumped out gave him my bank card , his words was what do i need with that followed by am sure you will find something requiring a fine you always do , said what new rule you making up today he didnt look to amused

There was no chance of them falling asleep at the wheel wiping a bus load of old aged pensioners out on their way to their annual outing, no chance of falling asleep wiping out a coach full of schoolkids, sorry but if they are running a business that needs to run bent then they need to be taken off the road and punished.
Lets face it, if either of the busses in the example above were hit and everyone killed, the families would be preffering the Peado’s or granny bashers were at fault rather than a so called Professional Driver, at least they would still have their loved ones.
