The series will be filmed between June and August and any professional truck drivers who believe they have the skill and strength to become the ‘Worlds Toughest Trucker’ or want to find out more about the series should apply by emailing truckers@dragonfly.tv or by calling +44 (0) 2070332273.
ere’s me thinking that was what irt was all about driving stupid roads with crazy drops on one side and suicide drivers in cars.
given the choice i would go with the ice all day long?
you wont get many from the uk apply unless the trucks are autos, have aircon, cd players and leccy windows and the trailers are curtainsiders.
running repairs ■■?, some wont even change a bulb.
reckon an indian driver will win.
20 hour shift in a tata, 100 degress, no aircon, no brakes , mountainous terrain, 55 ton of straw on a 10 ton truck and when he finally parks up for the night gets out and fixes that duff turbo with a prayer an an old baked bean tin.
I’d happily have a go, but when you look at what the Ice Road Truckers go through we in the UK are not exactly in the same league. Whats tough about driving in the UK apart from the traffic and fuel prices really? I would need a great deal more information before I signed on the dotted line, just look at the stick the Stobart drivers got…nuff said.
