tv setup

Ok i know this has been posted a few times before.

Basically sometimes at work im made to sit around at certain drops like a lemon, now not that im complaining im paid by the hour take as long as you want mate. But I’ve got a laptop and one them dongles things, I bought this from maplins http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=217748 which is great when im in London otherwise its crap and its only parts of London it works i.e Finchley ■■■■ but Croydon great. So I’ve got a idea I have a old freeview aerial in my loft could I use this or what aerial do I need to get so that I can watch tv all over. Any pictures of your lads setup would be great.

Cheers and take it easy

Do’nt really matter what aerial you’ve got if there’s no digital signal you aint getting digi tv.The best aerial by far is a status (google) but they aint cheap £80-£90.

A great way of getting telly is with an internet dongle, I use the three network with a wireless modem and for £15 a month I get 15 gig of downloads, so I can watch iplayer and the rest, basically as much as I like without going over my limit (Im on containers and I get a LOT of free time) . Obviously the signal is not as good in some places as others but 90% of the time its fine, otherwise you may get a few pauses as the buffer has to catch up. Its rare that its unwatchable.

Edited for spelling
